Social media has evolved into a valuable asset for school districts to engage the community and share the great moments that happen during the course of a typical week. Below are posts I wrote for my class for the Chatham Central School District in 2023-24.

Historic Albany Foundation Architectural Parts Warehouse
As manager of the non-profit HAF Parts Warehouse, I revived a dormant Facebook page and started sharing the interesting stories that we encountered. My goal was to promote our mission, engage with the community and hopefully make people say "Whoa, that's cool!" I had great success with this and built a real connection with our supporters and customers. In an audit of the organization's internet outreach, a social media analyst with Overit Media referred to me as an "influencer" based on viewer enagement data and other metrics.

Sample Work - Photography
While my photographic endeavors that scratch my artist itch can be a bit obtuse (LINK), when I photograph people or events my goal is capture the human emotion and spirit - and to get a quality, well-shot photo (below). Both demonstrate that I know my know my way around a camera, composition and photo editting.
