That is so cool! I checked out the link that you provided, and it is so cool that your son started up his own business like that! It must be very lucrative, and he must be learning a lot about entrepreneurial skills.

Yeah, it's cool he dove into this like he did. Through this he's learned a lot - photography, printing, graphic design, finding his creative lane, how to order goods from China(!), marketing, etc. And also how difficult it is to get people's attention online. When he first started it, I think he thought he'd post a couple of TikTok videos and the sales would come flooding in. I warned him that would probably not be the case. And it didn't happen. Most of his sales now are to local kids at his school and friends of friends. It's far from lucrative at this point, I'm pretty sure he hasn't reached break even yet. But I fully encourage him on everything NYP - it's such great real-world, hands on experience for him. So many essential transferrable skills. Leave a Reply. |
