The ELL students I've had as students over the course of my career have been very nice, respectful and hard working - I've always rooted for them. But they fall through the cracks in the world of public education, so I've focused my attention ways to help ELL kids. One way has been promoting the use of the YouTube translation feature. But YouTube would only translate as subtitles - a problem for students who don't read their own langauge fluently. A new YouTube feature is audio translations, which is really cool. I've been waiting years for this feature, so this is exciting. Here's a sample video.
