I randomly came across a box of ephemera* last week. It included this cool hand written plane ticket from 1964. That's how they used to do back in the day.

Woah! This is one of the best posts I have seen thus far! Super cool! My great grandfather (the one who I was named after) was a PanAm Executive - I have a lot of memorabilia from him willed to me after his passing at the age of 96 in 2017. I have a sort of museum in my basement to that effect. Being said, I have never seen an authentic PanAm ticket from the '60s! Great find Mr. G.!

Cool Lion! That old-school airline aesthetic is very cool if you have things with logos and color schemes.

Yeah! It is super cool! I went to the TWA hotel at JFK last month -- highly reccomend just for the historical "wow" factor.

wow, I didn't even know that still existed. I've seen photos, that's has such a cool style. Very cool you were able to stay there, I've got to check out it sometime (though when we're in Queens, saying "Hey let's drive out toward JFK, just for fun" isn't really a thing.) Leave a Reply. |
