OMG!

We're big Mets fans in our family, especially my daughter Katie.  This OMG sign was a mascot of sorts for the team this year, with the players pulling it out every time someone hit a home run.

I knew this would be a cool gift for Danny and Katie.  Why buy one on Etsy for $22 when I can spend hours painstaking making them by hand?

...because the Gazdonian Productions yulelog is the only one you need.

I do love the Holidays.  And I love that the Old 97s put out this great holiday album

My current project at work led me to recording some video of me teaching erosion yesterday.  It felt good to be back up there and getting into "teacher mode."  A little weird that it was in an empty conference room, but still a fun afternoon.

This logo from a German knife company is uncomfortably similar to the Gazdonian Productions logo

But I sorta kinda borrowed it from an eraser company so I better keep my mouth shut...

desk job

I've got a desk job now.  Desk jobs are inherently boring.  I need some small pings of happiness during the day, this flip clock will do the trick.

UPDATE below
Very satisfying to set these clocks, with a distinct "click" to each flip.  But you need to be careful as you approach the desired time setting because if you go past it you have to flip forward through all 23 hrs and 59 mins - there's no flipping backwards.
These boards in train stations were infinitely cooler than anything we have today.  This was in the Philly station.
