Lion sent me this today. Definitely made me smile. Right on Winni! Big thanks to Lion for sending it.  A quick overnight in Syracuse  Landmark Theater  random plaza  Vaporeyes  light fixture at Funk n Waffles I was randomly going through the magazine pile at my parents house and came across this. Kinda odd that they have one of these still. I appreciate my mom's commentary in the background - even she can't believe the ESRT used to have a built in ruler! I randomly came across a box of ephemera* last week. It included this cool hand written plane ticket from 1964. That's how they used to do back in the day. *ephemera - items of collectible memorabilia, typically written or printed ones, that were originally expected to have only short-term usefulness or popularity.   You're brain on office work [sound on]. yes, the fluorescent lights really do that. We don't even notice. Picked up this amazing piece for free the other day. 1970s 3-dimensional fiberglass wall art. Monstrous at 57 inches wide(!) My original plan was to donate it to the Albany Parts Warehouse, but it may have to spend a year or 2 hung over the sofa in the basement first.   and sometimes the sun comes in through the basement window and hits it just right... I was showing Danny how we used to make ice cubes back in the day. |
